Your Antenatal Care (ANC) Schedule – What to Expect

First visit (8–12 weeks): confirm pregnancy, blood group, hemoglobin, HIV/syphilis/hepatitis B screening, urine test, ultrasound dating.

Follow-up visits (every 4 weeks until 28 weeks): weight, blood pressure, fundal height, fetal heart beat, urine dipstick.

28–36 weeks (every 2 weeks): glucose tolerance test (for diabetes), second ultrasound (anatomy scan and growth), iron/folate supplementation.
